This course far exceeds the Florida Concealed Carry License requirements. Training is beyond the basics to teach the student the skills, and attitude necessary to Carry a concealed pistol for Personal Protection.

Course Fee: $150

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

Classroom Time: 3 Hours

Range Time: 4 Hours

Required Round Count: 200 Rounds

Prerequisite: This Course will first takes place in our Classroom with “NO LIVE AMMUNITION” followed by explaining, and demonstrating the specific “DRY FIRE DRILLS”. Such license is valid in 37 other states. You must be 21 years of age or older, the license is good for 7 years.

Topics include the following: Basic Pistol Fundamentals, Safe Firearm Handling, de-escalation, situational awareness, primary causes of firearms accidents, firearm parts, ammunition components, Defensive accuracy, Step by Step Drawing from Concealment, tactical reload, emergency reload, stoppage remediation, cover vs concealment, safely storing the firearm, Review Florida Gun Laws, Federal Laws, reciprocity, Self-Defense laws.

Followed by LIVE FIRE DRILLS, and CCW LIVE FIRE QUALIFICATION at Florida Gun Center Indoor where we will be drawing from Concealment.

Prerequisite: A Picture ID. A drivers license or state issued identification card with a picture is acceptable. Student to be successful in this course, they should have the following items, either personally owned, or Alpha One Firearms Training rented or sold

Required Items:

• Quality Pistol appropriate for concealed carry-recommended minimum of 9mm
• Quality Strong Side Hip Holster -recommended form fitted leather or kydex, must cover trigger/trigger guard Quality Appendix holster is also acceptable
• Quality Belt, designed to carry a holster, and a firearm strongly recommended
• Quality ammunition suitable for practice. Students to have at least 200 rounds – no reloaded ammo
• 3 magazines with appropriate pouches
• Eye Protection
• Hearing Protection-recommended electronics
• Cover garment any of these is acceptable: light jacket, sports jacket, purse, backpack
